River Park

Installed in 2024, the River Park Floating Gardens are a collaboration between Urban Rivers, the Chicago Park District, and North River Commission.

Floating in front of a former dam, these floating gardens provide nesting habitat for the ample bird species residing in the area, while also creating aquatic habitat beneath the water for fish and macroinvertebrates.
