Tom moved to Chicago to pursue an MS in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Loyola University Chicago. Since then, he has worked as the Mushroom Cultivation and Aquaponics Program Leader for the Urban Agriculture program at Loyola and as the Laboratory Manager for the fungi forward start-up Mycocycle Inc. Since 2022, he has been with Plant Chicago working with youth and adults to educate about all concepts related to ecology, sustainability and circularity.
