Come make some art inspired by the smallest inhabitants of the Wild Mile, the microorganisms that support the entire ecosystem! We’ll teach you how to use our research-grade microscopes to view these charismatic critters, from rotifers to green algae. We’ll provide the art supplies - just bring your creativity, and be ready to craft something cool! We’ll be joined by Sarah Rosengard of the School of the Art Institute, and Steph Mueller of Urban Rivers’ Bugs in Urban Rivers project - two talented local researchers ready to share their love of tiny river-dwellers.
